NOMINATIONS AND ELECTION OF OFFICERS<br />
<strong>Alabama</strong> <strong>State</strong> <strong>Nurses</strong> <strong>Association</strong>’s (ASNA) nomination and election of Officers shall be conducted in accordance<br />
with the current issue of Robert’s Rules of Order during the official meeting of the ASNA House of Delegates (HOD).<br />
1. NOMINATIONS<br />
A. Nominations Committee<br />
a. Nominations from the Nominations Committee shall be accomplished according to<br />
ASNA Bylaws.<br />
B. Nominations from the floor of the HOD shall be accomplished according to the current<br />
issue of Robert’s Rules of Order.<br />
2. ELECTION OF OFFICERS<br />
A. Elections will be by secret ballot.<br />
B. Only credentialed delegates will be allowed to vote at the ASNA Convention. See ASNA<br />
website (alabamanurses.org) under members only section for convention information.<br />
