The Youth Club Project Team - the Chamber
of Commerce, East Sussex Youth Services,
Uckfield College, Tesco and Uckfield
Town Council - has secured support and
funding to re-open the Youth Club via the
Uckfield Chamber. It will provide a safe
space for young people to socialise, take
part in activities and hopefully guide future
generations in a positive way.
GOING GREEK AT ST PHILIPS
Year six children at St. Philip’s Catholic
Primary School Uckfield, swapped maths
and English for haggling and bartering, when
they became Ancient Greeks for the day.
Gods and goddesses rubbed shoulders with
market traders as the children immersed
themselves in life as it would have been 500
years BC
.
