nite ShowcaSing extravaganza BollywooD faShion Show
Bollywood celebrities Zarina Khan,
Shamita Shetty and Sophie Choudhary
wore winning pieces by Veera Gold,
Emerald Jewel Industry, Gunjan Jewels and
Rasi Jewellery at GJC NITE organized by the
All India Gems &Jewellery Domestic Council.
Swarovski celebrated some of the best and
brightest in Indian jewellery design at the GJC
NITE fashion show and Award Ceremony to
announce the winners of the 2 Gem Vision
Jewellery Design Contest, which drew on
some of the latest Swarovski Zirconia cuts and
trend colours for inspiration. The presentation
was made at a show-stopping event at the JW
Marriott Sahar Mumbai. The occasion was part
of the GJC NITE organized by the All India
Gems and Jewellery Domestic Council (GJC).
Swarovski’s ingredient branding partners
submitted a total of 40 designs using one,
or more, of the following unique Swarovski
Zirconia products: Swarovski Zirconia
Rainbow Blue, Swarovski Zirconia Octagon
Sun and Round Checker Board Cuts and the
stunning Swarovski Zirconia Liquid Cuts.
The event was attended by the country’s
most important jewellery manufacturers and
retailers and leading entries in the competition

were displayed in a glamorous fashion show.
Sharing the first place were an opulent
necklace by Veera Gold and a colourful bangle
by Emerald Jewel Industry. Both jewellery
pieces are exquisitely crafted with Swarovski
Zirconia in an array of vivid colors, such as
Rainbow Blue, different kinds of greens and a
pop of Swarovski Zirconia Red inthe Emerald
bangle.
In second place was Gunjan Jewels with an
extravagant neckpiece made with Swarovski
Zirconiain Rainbow Blue and Arctic Blue.
The third winner was Rasi Jewellery. The
company presented an elegant set composed
of dangling earrings and a big necklace,
which perfectly integrate the Liquid Cuts for
Zirconia from Swarovski in Fancy Morganite,
Spring Green and Light Blue.
Entries were evaluated by a jury drawn
from esteemed members of the Indian jewelry
establishment: NAC Jewellers – Anantha
Padmanaban, Senco Gold & Diamond –
Shaankar Sen, Bhima Jewellers – Dr. B.
Govindan, Siroya Jewellers – Rajesh Siroya,
GRT Jewellers – Jayaraman G, Titan Company
Ltd. – Beate Steinfeld, Talwar Sons Jewellers –
Anil Talwar, PNG Jewellers – Saurabh Gadgil,
Waman Hari Pethe – Ashish Pethe, Reliance
Jewels – Piyush Seth, Meralda Jewels – AK
Nishad, Anand Shah Jewels – Anand Shah,
Khurana Jewellery House – Prerna Arora,
Ulka Gupta – Actress and Ms. Parul Chauhan
– Actress.
Swarovski also launched Zoe brand of
Emerald at the show with a stunning showcase
of never seen before platinum jewellery
created with Swarovski Zirconia, the face of
Zoe Michelle Shetty was the showstopper and
looked totally breath taking.
