Fiesta Nights
Crystal-clear waters, white
powdery sand and massive rock

SURFING ON LAND
Though Koh Samui’s calm
waters have never attracted
wave riders, the tides of
change have now brought
“flowboarding” to the island.
EasySurf is giving islanders an
opportunity to surf artificial
waves at its Chawaeng

climb onto a bodyboard or a
surfboard and ride the rushing
waves. With expert instructors

A GOLDEN SIGHT ON SEA SHORE
You may just find a new best friend when
you visit Samui’s tiny neighbouring island –
Koh Madsum – or “Pig Island”. The place
got its name thanks to its new inhabitants
– large adorable hogs. Visitors can interact
with the pigs in an open, natural setting
thanks to thrice-weekly trips to the island
run by GoJo Tours, in partnership with
Lub d Koh Samui.
The trips also feature a stop for
snorkelling and swimming off the coast
of Koh Taen, as well as hiking, kayaking
and boat jumping. A day spent in the
crystal-clear waters of the Gulf is made

the gentle island pigs, who are reared
