Gary
Johnson
AGE: 71
ABOUT ME: I was
born and raised
in Minnesota,
and, to escape
the cold winters,
moved to Phoenix
in 1978 after
graduating from
the University of
Minnesota Dental
School. I practiced
dentistry here for
25 years, retired
and then created
the nonprofit
Healthy Smile
Foundation. For
the past 10 years,
I have been an
associate professor
at Midwestern
University College
of Dental Medicine
in Glendale.
My friends
and colleagues
consider me witty
and fun. I enjoy
playing golf, watching
good movies,
spending summers
in Minnesota,
and performing
Sinatra music as
lead vocalist in my
Big Band. I am
spiritual, sensitive,
compassionate,
self-sufficient and
never bored. I have
had deeply emotional
and committed
relationships
but have never
married, still in
search of my soul
mate. Although my
chronological age
is 71, I feel and act
much younger. My
belief is to never
let age be a limiting
factor.

LOOKING FOR IN
A SIGNIFICANT
OTHER: A positive
attitude, affection,
joie de vivre, a
mutual love of
music, and a great
sense of humor so
we can keep each
other laughing
through both the
good times and the
challenging ones.

Honesty, loyalty,
compassion,
sincerity and
reliability.

QUALITIES TO
ME ARE: Spending
way too much time
being obsessively
meticulous, life is
just too short. Also,
having a good
sense of direction.
I was a Boy Scout,
so when you’re
with me, you’ll
never get lost.
