TROPICANA WINS BIG!<br />
Selangor-based <strong>Tropicana</strong> Corporation dominated at<br />
<strong>the</strong> PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards (Malaysia)<br />
<strong>2017</strong> clinching a total of 8 golden trophies. <strong>Tropicana</strong><br />
Corporation won <strong>the</strong> year’s highest honour for Best<br />
Condo Developer (Malaysia). Its <strong>Tropicana</strong> Residences<br />
project also clinched <strong>the</strong> ‘Best of Malaysia’ award<br />
for Best Condo Development (Malaysia), while its<br />
integrated community project <strong>Tropicana</strong> Metropark<br />
bagged <strong>the</strong> Best Mixed Use Development award.<br />

Wootton, praised <strong>the</strong> resilience of <strong>the</strong> domestic<br />
property market as it continues to undergo a period<br />
of consolidation.“We wanted to make an impact to <strong>the</strong><br />
industry and that’s why <strong>the</strong> panel of judges decided to<br />
expand this year’s awards categories to recognise o<strong>the</strong>r<br />
important segments such as affordable housing. We<br />
want to encourage developers to cater to different types<br />
of Malaysian consumers,” he said.<br />
A total of 21 awards were presented at <strong>the</strong> black-tie<br />
event that welcomed almost 300 guests.<br />
