Children and adults alike dress in fancy-dress and
a fun day is had by all. The event is promoted
throughout the local press and online and
projects a positive image of Rochdale from within.
This year the committee are delighted to
announce the proceeds from the street collection
this year will be for Rochdale Foodbank, Springhill
Hospice and Rochdale Heartbeat.
Milnrow Brass Band will lead the parade with
local schools are once again supporting the event
along with pre-schools and many local groups
with a number of exciting new entries.
Entry is free to the park where there will be
live music, a funfair for all ages, paintball, face
painting and a variety of stalls and hot and cold
food. Live music will be provided by New Identity,
which is a five piece local iconic pop party band
covering hits from Duran Duran, Spandu Ballet,
Barry White, Robbie Williams, Bruno Mars plus
more. Not to be missed!
