April 3, 2006 Raymond Felton is named the <strong>NBA</strong> Eastern Conference T-Mobile Rookie of the Month for the second consecutive time for games<br />
played in March.<br />
April 17, 2006 Charlotte secures its first winning month in franchise history with a 98-91 victory over New York<br />
at Madison Square Garden.<br />
April 19, 2006 With their 96-86 win over Philadelphia, the Bobcats net a franchise-best six victories in April and finish<br />
the month 6-3. Charlotte also closes the season with a franchise-best four-game winning streak.<br />
April 19, 2006 Gerald Wallace finishes the 2005-06 campaign averaging an <strong>NBA</strong> best 2.50 steals and 2.09 blocks (ninth in the <strong>NBA</strong>),<br />

May 4, 2006 Raymond Felton is named to the T-Mobile <strong>NBA</strong> All-Rookie Second Team. The fifth overall pick in the 2005 <strong>NBA</strong> Draft,<br />
Felton got stronger every month as the season progressed, increasing his averages in points, assists and field goal<br />
percentage every month.<br />
May 10, 2006 Raymond Felton finishes fourth in the 2005-06 T-Mobile Rookie of the Year voting.<br />

June 28, 2006 With the third pick in the <strong>NBA</strong> Draft, the Bobcats select Adam Morrison, a forward who led the nation in scoring<br />
in his final season at Gonzaga. Charlotte drafts UCLA center Ryan Hollins with the 50th pick.<br />
July 6, 2006 The Bobcats sign Adam Morrison, the team’s first round draft pick (third overall) in the 2006 <strong>NBA</strong> Draft.<br />
July 11, 2006 Local business leader Mac Everett agrees to serve as a member of the executive board for the Bobcats. In addition,<br />
Everett plans to invest and be<strong>com</strong>e part of the team’s ownership group.<br />
July 14, 2006 The Bobcats wrap up yet another successful summer league in Orlando, posting a 3-2 record. It marks the fourth time in<br />
the last three years Charlotte has posted or tied for the best record in a summer league. Adam Morrison finishes with<br />
a league-best 24.6 points.<br />
July 17, 2006 Bobcats Sports & Entertainment names Fred Whitfield President and Chief Operating Officer of the organization.<br />
In his role, Whitfield will oversee all business operations for the Charlotte Bobcats, Charlotte Sting and Charlotte<br />
