Drew Perry<br />

Video Coordinator/Advance Scout<br />

Drew Perry is in his eighth season with the Bobcats as video coordinator, assisting the coaching and<br />

basketball operations staffs through use of video technology and statistical data. This season, he has<br />

also added advance scouting to his responsibilities, after assisting with scouting for the past four<br />

seasons. Perry joined the Bobcats from XOS Technologies, a <strong>com</strong>pany that provides video software to<br />

numerous <strong>NBA</strong> and college basketball teams. In his two-year stint with the <strong>com</strong>pany, it achieved a 96<br />

percent growth in basketball client base and he successfully sold the product to teams throughout the<br />

<strong>NBA</strong>. From 1996-2002, he was the video coordinator for the Charlotte Hornets and Sting, assisting the<br />

coaching and basketball operations staffs with preparation and evaluation of players. Perry also served<br />

as director of scouting for the Sting in 1999.<br />

A 1992 graduate of Wake Forest, he earned a Master’s degree from the University of Richmond. Perry and<br />

his wife, Susan, have three children, Jackson, Sallie and Andrew.<br />

Fred Glover<br />

Equipment Manager<br />

Fred Glover is in his fifth season with the Bobcats as equipment manager, where he oversees the purchase<br />

and dispersal of equipment. In his role, Glover is responsible for setting up each player’s locker with<br />

uniforms, warm-ups, shoes, towels and other items.<br />

Previously, Glover spent five years as equipment manager for the D-League Fayetteville Patriots from the<br />

team’s inception in 2001 to its relocation in 2006. He also spent one season as a D-League mentor.<br />

Glover spent 23 years as assistant director of Achievements Unlimited Basketball School, a camp in<br />

Greensboro started in 1985 by Bobcats President & COO Fred Whitfield that <strong>com</strong>bines teaching<br />

fundamental basketball skills, stressing the importance of academics and living a life free of substance<br />

abuse. In addition, Glover was academic athletic advisor for three years at South View High School in his<br />

hometown of Hope Mills, North Carolina.<br />

Glover began his career as a student manager at Chowan College and Campbell University, where he<br />

earned his undergraduate degree in 1984.<br />

Glover and his wife, Tracy, have one daughter, Kenita. He also has an older daughter, Torrie.<br />
