WELLNESS<br />
The Bobcats organization actively works to broaden the belief that active lifestyles among<br />
youth promote overall health and well-being for the body, mind and soul. Providing clean<br />
facilities and refurbished landscapes where kids can play promotes wellness and helps<br />
motivate children to stay active. We place an emphasis on supporting programs that<br />
encourage kids to play, exercise, grow and give-back in a clean and healthy <strong>com</strong>munity.<br />
Fitness and Recreation outreach activities include:<br />

• Fitness Rallies, presented by Presbyterian Hospital<br />

SEASON OF GIVING<br />
During November and December, the Bobcats embark on the Season of Giving.<br />
Season of Giving outreach activities include:<br />
• Hoops and Hope Thanksgiving Dinner<br />
• Dunk Hunger campaign and food drive, presented by Lance<br />
• Holiday Party for Kids<br />
• Salvation Army Toy Drop Off<br />
• Feed the Children food and toiletry distribution<br />
• Players “adopting” underserved families<br />
PLAYER NATION<br />
The Player Nation ticket program is a <strong>com</strong>munity relations platform through which players<br />
and coaches purchase tickets that will be given to underserved area youth and non-profit<br />
groups. During the 2010-11 season, over 27,000 kids received tickets through the Player<br />
Nation program.<br />

The Cats Care Foundation is a 501(c)3 public charity. Special events and auctions are held<br />

<strong>com</strong>mitment to education, fitness and recreation, and youth and family development.<br />
