INDIA The new automotive competence centre in Pune is based on the model of the facilities in Bremen and Shanghai. The choice of this location was a far-sighted one, for the city is increasingly developing into the centre of India’s automobile industry and many manufacturers and component suppliers are headquartered or have production plants there. Out of Pune, Kuehne + Nagel’s dedicated automotive logistics team develops and implements a comprehensive range of tailor-made services. The spectrum of services extends from just-in-time and just-in-sequence deliveries to inventory management (Vendor Managed Inventory) and emergency logistics.
