This is then eaten at the patient’s leisure, in his/her own time. This is used in day-care when feeding is given overnight, at weekends or during staff shortages. DISCHARGE CRITERIA The Criteria to move back from Phase 2 to the Acute Phase (Phase 1) within the IPF are the same as the ones given to move back from OTP facilities to the IPF (cf. OTP section for discharge criteria) All the patients should be discharged to supplementary feeding programme (SFP) for follow up where this is available. Where this is not available the criteria for discharge should be more conservative or caretakers could be requested to come back for anthropometric follow up only, i.e. every two weeks during one month.
