50 per cent races that enabled<br />
novices to gain precious<br />
experience on the water with<br />
more seasoned rowers.<br />
It was thesecond regattaof<br />
the seasonfor the 25strong<br />
<strong>Ashburton</strong> Collegerowing<br />
team,which will step things up<br />
at theOtago Championships<br />
next weekendatLake<br />
Ruataniwha.Lake Hood will<br />
host theCanterbury junior<br />
regattaon February 27 and<br />
school rowers will peak for<br />
Maadi at Karapiro in March.<br />
