The GM adapter is for GM vehicles. The adapter has<br />

the following components:<br />

Item 1 DLC Connector - connects to the data link connector<br />

(DLC) of the vehicle’s electronic control unit.<br />

Item 2 8-Pin Connector - connects to the 8-pin connector<br />

on the DB 25 power cable.<br />

The Sumitomo adapter is for vehicle’s equipped with<br />

Sumitomo anti-lock brake systems. The adapter has<br />

the following components:<br />

Item 1 DLC Connector - connects to the data link connector<br />

(DLC) of the vehicle’s electronic control unit.<br />

Item 2 8-Pin Connector - connects to the 8-pin connector<br />

on the DB 25 power cable.<br />

Battery Adapter (212638)<br />

The battery adapter can be used with the DB25 power<br />

cable (shown on page 3) or other cables that have a<br />

battery power plug. The adapter has the following<br />

components:<br />

Item 1 Battery Clamps - clamp to the battery’s terminals.<br />

Item 2 Power Plug Connector - connects to (fits over) the<br />

power plug on the DB25 power cable or other cables<br />

with a power plug.<br />
