Dentsply Sirona Opens New Centre of Dentistry in Hong Kong
APAC Centre for Dentistry in Hong Kong
On the 5 th December 2018, Dentsply Sirona
opened its doors to celebrate the newly
opened, state-of-the-art Dentsply Sirona
APAC showroom and training centre in
Kowloon Bay, Hong Kong.
On more than 430 square meters,
Dentsply Sirona displays dental solutions,
from equipment to consumables with a
dedicated training centre for lectures and
hands-on courses for dental professionals
to gather and learn more about current
and future technologies. The new
training facility can accommodate up to
100 guests in a lecture set up and 45
participants for hands-on sessions.
Greater focus on advancing
dental care in Asia Pacific
With the recent opening of the
advanced training centres in
Hong Kong and Singapore and
more to follow in Malaysia
and Indonesia in early 2019,
Dentsply Sirona shows its investment
and focus on advancing dental care
in Asia Pacific. Mr. Henning Mueller,
Group Vice President RCO Asia Pacific
at Dentsply Sirona explained during
his opening speech, “With the merger
two years ago, two power houses
came together. While this might
be challenging, it also gives us the
fantastic opportunity of offering
full-fledged solutions to dental
professionals with the vision to assist
in providing better, safer and faster
dental care.”
Furthermore, the official opening
speeches were followed by the ribbon
cutting ceremony and the evening was
accompanied with classical music by
Hong Kong Amateur Orchestra.
Excited guests
Dr. Yeung Ka Chun said, “It’s a nice
and well equipped training centre for
dentistry. I am looking forward to working
with Dentsly Sirona in the near future.”
Dr. Tse Tak On believes that Dentsply Sirona
will enable dental professionals to advance
to next level with the clinical education
provided in Dentsply Sirona’s new training
centre.
Local dental professionals can look forward
to a variety of clinical and technical
continuing education curriculums, including
hands-on teaching, live lectures, taught by
internationally-known experts in all fields of
dentistry, Dentsply Sirona is committed to
empowering dental professionals through

EconAllicance Award Recipient
DenMat Holdings, LLC (DenMat) was
named a 2018 EconAlliance Award
Winner on 8 th November 2018, at an
annual forum hosted by the Economic
Alliance of Northern Santa Barbara
County (“EconAlliance”). A nonprofit
organisation in Central California,
