We’re back to Level 1, just as it should
be! And we kept those Codes to the letter,
well done everyone!
The Harry Lee Drawn Teams, sponsored
by Pearsons Coachlines, was held
on the 4th with arelatively full house. It
turned out to be abeautiful day and was
most enjoyable! The results are: 1st –John
Kewish, Heather Gray, Wendy Herriott;

Friday Triples of the season on the 5th,
another beautiful day and where has the

small attendance this week. The Harry Lee
and Friday Triples on Thursday and

The results of the Ashburton Ladies
Triples, sponsored by the Ashburton Trust
and held on the 8th March,will be recorded
in next week’s Report. We had 2 full
greens for this event!
Our Inhouse Glassey 3 bowl mixed
pairs, scheduled for the 17th February, will
now be played (at Ashburton) on Wednesday
10th March, starting at 12.30 pm.

with two Ashburton teams. The
old men smashed theyoung pups
twicelastyear, so rightly carry
theAshburton 1moniker.
After holding pre­season trials,
averystrong team hasbeen
selected by CaptainChaos and a
big year is expected. Young Tom
was recently seen raking through
the rubbish skips trying to pull an
Ashburton 2team together. I
think theboard mayneedtokeep
an eyeonthem andmaybe re
name them as Mayfield 2or
something, just athought, as we
don’t wantthem dragging our
name through themud.
The rest of the pennants teams
kick offinafew weeks time.It’s
always greatfun playing
different coursesagainst some

Aorangi district. If anyone

look over our facilities and
course. We got some great feed
back and information on what to
expect and things to do.Itwas a
reallygoodmeeting, and Iwill be
calling avolunteers meeting
shortly to relay it back to
