Pero si bien se ha especulado que las discusiones
se han topado con obstáculos, Wolff está más tranquilo sobre
la situación. Dice que las discusiones se han complicado
por el hecho de que él y Hamilton no han podido reunirse
cara a cara, lo que ha ralentizado las discusiones a medida

Wolff dijo que: “Los abogados están trabajando duro.

el trato había ralentizado las cosas, no sintió que hubiera
ningún obstáculo importante para que el contrato se pasara
de la raya.
“ Así son las negociaciones”, explicó. “Siempre vienes
de diferentes rincones, pero eso es bastante normal. Tenemos
una base sólida en nuestra relación y juntos hemos celebrado
grandes éxitos y queremos seguir haciéndolo en el futuro...”
Wolff también ha dejado en claro que lo demostrado
por George Russell (cuando sustituyó a Hamilton en el Gran
Premio de Sakhir del año pasado) no se ha utilizado como
táctica en la negociación para tratar de ganar ventaja en
los términos salariales...

situation. He says that the discussions have been complicated

Wolff has also made clear that the speed shown by
George Russell, when he stood in for Hamilton at last year’s
Sakhir Grand Prix, has not been used as a negotiating tactic
to try to gain an upper hand with salary terms…
With one month left to start the 2021 season,
Hamilton is still a free agent ...
