Y Ralph Sanchez, lo hizo; porque fue de aquellos que
supo desde siempre que para lograr lo posible, había que
hacer lo imposible.
Entonces Miami se llenó de automovilismo, porque
su obra fue sin dudas la más importante de esa disciplina en
la historia de esta geografía y más tarde, en una zona total y
absolutamente desbastada por el huracán Andrew, construyó
el Homestead-Miami Speedway, una verdadera catedral del
mundo de la velocidad.
Nos dejó muy joven, pero su obra, su amistad, aquel
llamado para narrar el proyecto de su primer evento,
quedará para siempre grabado en mi memoria, con el dolor
de haberlo perdido, pero con el orgullo intocable de haberlo
conocido.
Gracias Ralph por todo lo que nos enseñaste y por
tu legado inapelable al automovilismo deportivo…
Ralph Sanchez was one of those who always knew
that to achieve the possible, you had to do the impossible.
Miami was filled with motorsports, because his work was
undoubtedly the most important of that discipline in the
history of this region and later,
in an area totally and absolutely devastated by
Hurricane Andrew, he built the Homestead-Miami Speedway,
a true cathedral of the world of speed.
He left us incredibly young, but his work, his
friendship, that call to narrate the project of his first event,
will remain forever engraved in my memory, with the pain
of having lost him, but with the untouchable pride of having
known him.
Thank you, Ralph, for everything you taught us and
for your unquestionable legacy to motorsports ...
