All interns are rising seniors and class of 2021 graduates. They are ready and eager to apply
their technical skills within the world of work. Intern candidates hail from career technical
academies at Azusa, Gladstone, Monrovia, Charter Oak, and Duarte High Schools. Many
students hold industry recognized certifications such as Solidworks, CAD Mechanical Design,
AutoDesk Inventor, Adobe Photoshop and more! Student interns can create your next website,
support online visibility through social media campaigns or finally knock out that project none of
your staff has time to do. Take your organization to the next level with an intern.
Program Overview
• All interns serve your company remotely anytime between the months of June through
the first week of August.
• All hosts create an internship scope of work or description of duties.
• Interns submit resumes and cover letters to participating organizations they wish to
obtain a placement but internship hosts determine who they take on for the summer.
• Interns must complete a minimum of 60 hours total with an organization.
• All interns receive school credit along with a $250.00 stipend.
• We ask participating hosts to contribute to the stipend through our 501(c)3, San Gabriel
Valley Foundation for Economic Growth - however donations are not mandatory to
participate.
