GSFE Directors, Ilja Haverkorn and Diana Londyn invite you to attend Long Beach GSFE Network Monday, April 19th, 2021 - 3:00 p.m. Location: Jade Restaurant 6380 Pacific Coast Highway #A Long Beach, CA 90803 Topic Speaker Rosalyn Kahn Members: $10 Non-Members: $15 Lessons learned from pillars of community to thriving in the pandemic Rosalyn Kahn is a College Professor Public Speaking Instructor at Los Angeles City College. She is also an Author, International Motivational Speaker, Humanitarian and Speech Coach. Ms. Kahn has been an educator for the last 20 years teaching Public Speaking, English as Second Language in colleges and high schools throughout Southern CA. Several years ago, she attended her first TedX conference in Pasadena. She was immediately drawn into the Tedx fever. Rosalyn worked on the experiential committee of TEDx and thereafter followed her expertise to coach ten TEDx speakers from Nov. to present. Rosalyn spoke over three times beginning in 2013 “Language comes to Life.” 2015 “Coming Around the Curve” and “Breaking Cultural Barriers. She began her business Coaching and Professional Speaking nearly three years ago. Rosalyn has trained over thousands of students and worked with individuals from a wide span from teens to business executives improve their presentation skills to improve their earnings. Her gift is helping individuals achieve their goal with speaking with their authentic voice. In the last five years she has spoken at over several hundred different organizations .She has worked with clients in the pageant industry, hospitality, real estate and Coaching Executives in Athletic world at major So. CA universities. She spoke in Rome, Italy on her book. Severral year agos she joined forces with Ferlie Almonte TV interview from East Coast to conduct “Stand Out and Shine” workshop getting on TEDx stage and how to get that dream job. Since then she has spoken at TEEN Trepco –Helping Teens become Entrepreneurs, and MC for the San Diego International Film Festival. She recently helped bring Chinese Yu Opera to Santa Monica College. In addition, she spoke at the Universal City and North Hollywood Chamber. Rosalyn is no stranger to radio, in 2021 she was recently interviewed on over 30 podcasts in 90 days from Canada, England, India and across and last year recorded 30 interview from movie stars. Authors, directors and more for her own series on a major year network called Rosalyn Kahn Community of Unity. She has published her first book Random Acts of Kindness are Changing the World by Solutions Press released on Amazon. Her second Roses and Dogs –How to Reduce Stress in Today’s Troubled Times was released in hard copy and electronic format are sold on Amazon. MeMost recently, her third book is Message for Tomorrow’s Leaders. 2020: • Toastmasters International earning the highest honor Distinguished Toastmaster • Los Angeles Business Journal awarded her Women Business Owner of Year • Global Society of Female Executives Kindness San Fernando Valley 2021: • Wowen Award Women Prof of Year Hall of Fame. • Lioness Rising Women’s Appreciation The Long Beach & Surrounding Areas GSFE meets the 3rd Monday of every month at 3:00 pm. News from Menifee GSFE Robbie Motter Angela Covany By Robbie Motter The Menifee GSFE meeting held at the Sun City Family Restaurant in Sun City. 14 dynamic women attended. Our speaker was Arvee Robinson who is also a GSFE member of Riverside GSFE and she was amazing and gave us great insights on how to be a great speaker and how speaking can help to build ones brand and get noticed more Others attending were” Marianne Cintron a Riverside GSFE member and she will be our April Speaker, Angela Covany, Nicole Farrell, Mary Gelbman,Joanne Groch, Lynn Hartung, Deborah Irish, Jeanette LeHoullier, Robbie Motter, Cynthia Nemelka, Kathy Reese, and Dara Tovar. We also in addition to the great lunch got to enjoy two birthday cakes for my birthday brought to the meeting by Angela Covany. Everyone was so happy to meet live and happy to again see each other live. Next Month our speaker is Dr Mariann Cintron and the topic is “Brining Peace to the Household” Hope to see everyone there.
