titles on line<br />
National and South Island titles areupfor grabs at the<br />
<strong>Ashburton</strong> Speedway on Seafield Road (nearthe<br />
<strong>Ashburton</strong> Airport)this weekend, in what promises to<br />
be two days of exciting race action.<br />
The racing, over Saturday andSunday, features in<br />
the Wheels Week programme.<br />
Day one of racing will see drivers lining up to viefor<br />
qualifying positionsinthe Adult Ministock New<br />
Zealand titleand the Six Shooter CTRASouth Island<br />
title.<br />
There are also some great support fields andevents<br />
such as quarter midgetsand cgrade saloon cars<br />
competingwhich promises avery exciting weekend of<br />
racing.<br />
In all racing, drivers vary in age from 17yearolds<br />
throughtoveteran drivers.<br />
Racingruns both days from 12.00pm until 4pm.<br />
Cost $15 adult aday, ($25for two day pass), gold card<br />
holders $10/day, under 14 free (must be accompanied<br />
by an adult).<br />
Food is available for purchase on site.<br />
