Being a middleclassfarmer’s daughter to becoming a corporate employeewas a real journey. This journey was made exciting by IBSBangalore through the Summer internship that gave meexposure to real life corporate world, various club activities,excel course, various courses in management and the softskills classes. Engaging myself in these activities haveshaped me to become who I am today.Interview Experience: HCL was the first company I hadapplied for and getting selected in that company itself wasan unforgettable event of my life. When I look back, I amconvinced that the Placement preparatory sessions helpedme crack the interview and get the job offer. Special thanksto the teaching faculty and non- teaching staff at IBS whohelped me to improve in many ways to realize my dreams.It would be selfish on my part if I did not acknowledge the contribution of thefaculty and placement team of IBS Bangalore in shaping up my career. At IBSBangalore,the peer learning was the best part of the course which helped meto develop skills needed to excel in my career.Peer learning played a huge roleby creating an environment of healthy classroom discussions in all the coursesand developed immense confidence in us to face the corporate world. WhenI joined the program as a fresher,the 14 week Summer internship programgave me a brilliant opportunity to explore the corporate world by interning in awealth management company where the learning was huge.Additionally there were a lot of grooming sessions before placements startedand those sessions were very helpful in preparing me for the placementprocess.For example the Mock GDs and PIs gave me a feel of what therecruiter would actually be looking for in a candidate. I am thankful to IBS forgiving all of us so many opportunities with various companies and I am proudto say that I grabbed one such opportunity with NTT DATA Business Solutionsformerly known as Itelligence.
