The most key thing during the tenure is themandatory summer internship program made me get the feel of realtime corporate work culture and enhancing my real time learning atthe firm named Arvind Composites (Arvind Group). After I finishedmy 3 months of SIP, it went smoother after I was placed throughcollege in a company named ICRA Limited, Mumbai where I am beingadmired for what i am and all the professional skills developed andenhanced during my IBS journey for which the entire credit goes tothe miraculous faculty members, diligent and empathetic placementmanagers and my fellow friends. I am sure I wouldn’t be where I amnow without the support of my family and the Life at IBS.My 2 years journey with IBS Bangalore cannot be penned down so easily.IBS has been an experiential journey for me ever since I joined in as a novicestudent and then graduated into a transformed individual. Not to mentionthat it’s not just about the faculty and college which transformed me intowhere I am today but it also demands a lot of hard work, sincerity anddiscipline to succeed as a student. I joined IBS to learn about HR and trustme I learned a lot from my teachers. The Faculty in IBS are still my Gurus!Right from the first semester till my placements and even now they arealways there to guide and nurture you. IBS doesn’t only give you a platformto complete your MBA but also gives you wings to fly and pursue your owninterests. One such interest that I pursued was “Dramatics Club”. Oh boy! Itwas an amazing journey to be a part of every function and performing onthe stage. From guiding us on our subjects to preparing us for the corporateworld, IBS-B is the place where your dreams do come true!

Thereis a fine balance between learning and fun whichis the best thing. When I refer as “fun”, I mean theway the syllabus is framed. Almost all the subjectsare handled with a practical approach that givesthe students a great understanding of the conceptsand how things work in real life. The classes happenthrough case studies that encourage students tobuild skills in research, presentations, skits, self-madevideos etc. The learning is strengthened by the 14-week Summer Internship program that focuses onproviding excellent exposure to the corporate world.The two Management fests Manthan and Tarkashpolish students’ organizing and leadership skills.CSR, Finance, Entrepreneurship, Analytics, Food club etc.and the club events are conducted during the evenings.Sports is an integral part of IBS B culture and regulartournaments are conducted in Cricket, Football, Volleyball,Badminton, Basketball and so on.Last but not the least- the Faculty at IBS B are highlyapproachable and each one of them has extensiveexperience in teaching and bring abundant industryknowledge (share their own experience) along with them.The professional support in the final placements andpersonal/professional mentorship provided to studentsenable them to clear the placement rounds and grabexcellent job offers. The alumni from various industry andcompanies come to college and take mock interviews andprovide their valuable feedback to every individual.ICFAI Business School offers uniquecombination of learning and selfdevelopment.The amount of support andguidance I got from the faculties and thePlacement cell has really helped in securingmy placement in a Big4 at a lucrativesalary package. I was very confident andcracked the Aptitude, Group Discussion andInterview rounds due to the mock tests andinterviews conducted by the faculty and thePlacement cell. The working atmospherehere has taught me professionalism. I wouldlike to thank my college for giving me thechance to increase my potential.The fun part doesn’t end within the class. There areThis is how the transformation happens at IBS-Bangalore.a lot of clubs like the Dance, Music, Photography,Proud to say that I am from IBS-Bangalore.
