Addison Howe is appointed new
Field Sales Manager at Morris Lubricants
Morris Lubricants has been blending and supplying quality lubricants in
Shrewsbury for over 150 years. One of the main factors of the company’s
longevity is its experienced and dedicated staff who are the back bone of
the business. Morris Lubricants has added to their experienced Sales Team
by appointing Addison Howe as the company’s new Field Sales Manager.
With a proven and impressive track
record of mentoring and sales
teams Addison also brings to his
new role sixteen years of oil, lubricant and
grease industry experience to call upon.
His focus will be to coach the team
of Area Sales Managers so that they can
continue to deliver exceptional customer
service to customers spanning the length
and width of Great Britain.
Addison has always aspired to work
for Morris Lubricants “due to their
absolute and no compromise attitude
towards product quality.” He adds: “This
is reinforced by their close ties with the
UKLA and the VLS. Morris Lubricants are
highly regarded in the marketplace and are
focused on doing the right thing.”
The appointment underlines the
ambitions at Morris Lubricants, which
supplies nationally and internationally to
over 90 countries worldwide, by employing
talented individuals that understand the
company’s ethos of providing industry
leading oil, lubricants and greases as well as
unparallel customer support.
“Morris Lubricants is built on strong
foundations; quality, loyalty, service and
a happy, customer-focused team that
always want to do their best to help,” says
Addison.
“These elements are key to how the
business has grown in the past, and with a
focused approach, we will see the company
go from strength-to-strength.”
Distributed across the UK, the field
sales team work remotely. As lockdown
restrictions continue to ease, Addison will
oversee a safe return to on-site visits for
both the Morris Lubricants team and their
customers. “To keep everyone safe, we will
follow all legal requirements,” he says. “We
respect our customers. If they require us to
do something – whether it’s wearing full PPE
or carrying out a lateral flow test before we
arrive and providing evidence of the result –
we will do it. We will build our relationships
online, over the phone and in person.”
Also critical to success will be
maintaining good relationships with the
Morris Lubricants client base, “We want
to understand a customer requirement
and their business needs at an in-depth
level so we can help them. As soon
as we understand that, it becomes a
business partnership, and a much better
relationship.”
“It has been fantastic to join a company
of Morris Lubricants’ history, reputation
and vision. I’ve already been made to
feel very welcome in part of an already
wonderful team, which I’m looking forward
to being a part of for a long time to come.”
Bringing a wealth of experience to the rapidly expanding business,
“Emily brings considerable knowledge and stand-out experience in
her field, as well as fresh vision for our business.
“2021 has been a really exciting year for us so far. We’ve opened
four new dealerships, our existing sites are hiring and growing, and
we’re introducing new systems to improve our internal processes.
recognise the need to continually move forward and evolve.”
