Copart’s 3
Peaks Challenge
Raises £5k for
Ben Automotive
Charity
Over the course of one weekend in July,
Team Copart tackled the three highest
peaks in Scotland, England, and Wales:
Ben Nevis (1,345m), Scafell Pike (978m)
and Snowdon (1,085m).
Coparts team took on the challenge to
raise money for Ben, as part of their Do It
4 Ben campaign.
Jane Pocock, MD of Copart UK & Ireland,
said: “I’m delighted that Copart was able to
give something back to Ben, whose health
and wellbeing services to our business and
the wider automotive industry have been
invaluable, especially during the challenges
of the pandemic. Not only has this event
been an incredible and unforgettable
experience for our teammates who took
part, but it also demonstrates the strength
of our commitment to caring about good
causes like Ben as part of our ongoing
Copart Cares campaign.”
Matt Wiggington, Director of
Partnerships, Engagement & Income at
Ben, added:
“Copart Cares…it really does…and
with every event you complete and every
donation you make, you’re changing and,
in some cases, saving lives of people in our
automotive family. We couldn’t do what
we do without you all. Thanks for all your
support and huge congratulations to the
team that took on the challenge.”
Tim to embark on charity cycle ride
Rugby League supporter Tim Ward, of
NGK, is taking part in a charity cycle ride
to raise funds for those involved in the
sport.
The Leeds Rhinos fan is to undertake a
a Rugby League supporter on the terrace
since 1994. I have seen the commitment
of those who love and play the sport and
how they may be finding it tough when
they finish the game through injury or
retirement.
