This study can appreciate the maestros from Asia invarious spheres of Arts.Nobel Prize in AsiaAsia is the largest continent in the world. There is atotal of 49 countries in Asia. There are 78 Nobellaureates in Asia from 1901 to 2019. The first Nobellaureate in Asia was Rabindranath Tagore who wasSl.NoYearName of NobelLaureatesawarded in 1913 for his poetic work " Gitanjali" fromBritish India. There are 8 Nobel prizes in Literature, 7Nobel prizes in Physiology or Medicine, 20 NobelPrizes in Physics and 19 Nobel prizes in Chemistryfrom Asia Were Awarded. Besides, 20 and 4 Nobelprizes were awarded for Peace and Economicsrespectively in Asia. The Nobel Prize is an annual,international prize first awarded in 1901 forachievements in Physics, Chemistry, Physiology orMedicine, Literature, and Peace. An associated prize inEconomics has been awarded since 1969 (Nobel Prize,2007). Nobel Prizes have been awarded to over 800individuals . Asians have been the recipients of all sixaward categories: Physics, Chemistry, Physiology orMedicine, Literature, Peace, and Economics. The firstAsian recipient, Rabindranath Tagore, was awarded theLiterature Prize in 1913. The most Nobel Prizesawarded to Asians in a single year was in 2014 whenfive Asians became laureates. The most recent Asianlaureates, Japanese scientist Akira Yoshino and Indianeconomist Abhijit Banerjee were awarded their prizesin 2019.To date (2019), there have been fifty-seven Asianwinners of the Nobel Prize, including twenty- eightJapanese, twelve Israel, nine Indian (not including non-Indian Laureates born in India) and eight Chinese (notincluding non-Chinese Laureates born in China).
