Nestled in Silkstone village, The<br />

Bells offers a warm welcome to<br />

those in search of a hearty lunch,<br />

comforting supper, or just a drink by<br />

the roaring log fire.<br />

The food menu has been<br />

designed around using the freshest<br />

produce available and changes with<br />

the seasons. For winter, choose<br />

from classics or specials with dishes<br />

bursting with flavour.<br />

Whether to start or to share, The<br />

Bells has a variety of smaller plates<br />

and nibbles such as thai fish cakes,<br />

mini baked camembert, slow cooked<br />

pork belly bites in a sweet chilli<br />

glaze, or sauteed chorizo and<br />

halloumi cubes.<br />

For mains, try the proper beef<br />

and ale pie or beer battered haddock<br />

served with proper chips and mushy<br />

peas. Or how about one of their<br />

signature steaks which all come with<br />

creamy mushroom, roasted tomato,<br />

pea shoots, chips and sauce of<br />

your choice.<br />

For something a little special,<br />

there are tempting dishes such as<br />

pan-fried salmon in a crème fraiche<br />

and caper sauce, salt and pepper<br />

chicken noodles, or tarragon and<br />

thyme chicken supreme. The Bells<br />

also has a good range of vegetarian<br />

and vegan dishes including<br />

the sweet potato and red onion<br />

marmalade tart, mushroom ravioli or<br />

vegan burger with vegan feta slaw<br />

and pickled onions.<br />

And don’t forget to try one of<br />

their cocktails such as the aptly<br />

named Bellsini.<br />
