two top awards.<br />

On 11 May, around a hundred professionals<br />

from the perfumery industry gathered in Madrid<br />

to pay tribute to the winners of the 2022<br />

Perfumery of the Year Awards, two of which<br />

this year went to the Sabina Group: on the one<br />

hand, for the 2022 Best Tourist Perfumery; on<br />

the other, a moving Special Leadership Award<br />

for the 2022 Perfumery and Cosmetics Retailer<br />

of the Year for Lalo Daswani, president of the<br />

Sabina Group.<br />

These two awards are important because they<br />

indicate that the path they are following is appreciated<br />

by the perfumery distributors and<br />

representatives of leading brands, who are the<br />

jurors of the event. When collecting the award<br />

for the 2022 Best Tourist Perfumery of the Year,<br />

Raju Daswani, manager of Sabina, underlined<br />

that "for the Sabina family it is, once again, a<br />

great honour and a source of pride to receive<br />

this award, the result of the efforts of many<br />

people, of our entire team, without whom we<br />

would not be here today. This award helps us<br />

keep improving year after year and we understand<br />

that humility, respect, effort and innovation<br />

are the way forward”.<br />

Right after this, the 2022 Special Perfumery<br />

and Cosmetics Retailer of the Year Award went<br />

to Lalo Daswani, president of Grupo Sabina, in<br />

recognition of his extensive career in the industry,<br />

based on experience, perseverance<br />

and effort to preserve the interests of the selective<br />

market, key factors in such a competitive<br />

industry. After receiving his award, Lalo<br />

Daswani gave an emotional speech of gratitude,<br />

emphasising that "everything I am and<br />

what Sabina is today is down to my family and<br />

my team. Thank you very much for this award”.<br />

Sabina has focused its efforts on aspects that<br />

interconnect with the customer's perception<br />

of its brand. Along these lines, they have been<br />

able to reinforce an image of a conscientious,<br />

committed and trustworthy company. They<br />

take care of every last detail in their points of<br />

sale, their uniforms, their treatment of customers,<br />

their signage and their packaging.<br />
