Within the Park, there are five main venues including an 80,000-seat Olympic Stadium, a cycling VeloPark, an Aquatics Centre, a Basketball Arena and a Handball Arena. After the greatest show on earth has left town, the area will be transformed into one of the largest urban parks created in Europe for more than 150 years and feature the ArcelorMittal Orbit Tower (designed by Anish Kapoor), which will be the largest public work of art in the UK. The park will be designed to enrich the local ecology by restoring wetland habitats and planting native species, while the sports facilities will be made open for use by local sports clubs.
