Bad Bayersoien
Dank seiner idyllischen Lage inmitten
einer leicht hügeligen Voralpenlandschaft
am nördlichen Eingang des Naturparks
Ammergauer Alpen ist Bad Bayersoien nicht nur
bei Wanderern beliebt, sondern auch bei allen
Wasserfreunden. Denn das junge Moorheilbad
ist der einzige Ort im Ammertal mit einem
traumhaften See. Er speist sich aus dem
umliegenden Moor, aus dem auch das örtliche
Naturheilmittel gewonnen wird. Rund um den
Soier See finden sich neben der Liegewiese mit
Badebereich unter anderem auch ein Naturlehrpfad,
ein Moor-Tretbecken und
ein Barfuß-Parcours. Im traditionsreichen
Kurort gibt es vom kleinen Sonnenuhren-
Park über zahlreiche Dorfbrunnen bis
zum Museum im Bierlinghaus
allerhand zu entdecken.
Thanks to its idyllic location in the middle of a slightly hilly pre-Alpine landscape at the northern
entrance of the Ammergau Alps Nature Park, Bad Bayersoien is not only popular with hikers,
but also with all water lovers. Because the young mud spa is the only village in the Ammertal
with a wonderful lake. It is fed from the surrounding bogs, from which the local natural remedy
is obtained. In addition to the sunbathing lawn with bathing area, there is – among others –
also a nature trail, a mud treading basin and a barefoot course around Lake Soier.
The pedestrianized and traditional health resort itself is also worth to discover, from the small
sundial park to numerous village fountains or the museum in the Bierlinghaus building.
