6 Discussion and Conclusions<br />

The wrinkling of square membranes subject to coplanar pairs of equal and<br />

opposite corner forces has been investigated. It has been shown that two<br />

wrinkling regimes exist. The first regime occurs for symmetric loading and<br />

asymmetric loadinguptoapproximately T1 T /T2 T =2.41, and it is characterised<br />
