JR: “It is just my passion and
the adrenaline that is going
through my veins in a game. I’m
shattered after every game when
I come off, I hate having to go and
speak to the media or anything
like that. If I’ve done my job
properly, I just want to have a chat
with my dad and get off home.
I spoke to Hecky straightaway
at Burnley and just apologised
for my reaction. I know it wasn’t
the right thing to have done,
but I was gutted with what had
happened and I didn’t want to
be dragged off and having to sit
there reflecting on it. We laughed
about it afterwards, once the
dust had settled, like him I’m
just disappointed we didn’t get
the chance to go there and try
and beat them 11 v 11, but that
has gone now. Congratulations
to them as champions of
the division, but we’re not
complaining going up with them
