Despite living
thousands of miles
away from Bramall
Lane, keeping the
Sheffield United
tradition alive
hasn’t been difficult
for Peter Turvey.
Sheffield-born
Peter moved to the
USA many years
ago, settling in the
state of Oregon on
the West Coast.
The move never
dented his love for
United, ensuring the tradition of following the
Blades was passed down through the generations.
Peter’s children Katherine, Ben and Chris are all
avid Blades, as can be seen by the press cuttings
kept by Peter here.
Now, recently Peter made contact with the club
to tell us about the next generation of Blades.
Pictured are Peter’s five grandchildren, and of
course, they are all Blades. Vera and Sig (on the
left and right) are twins born to Katherine, whilst
the three boys in the middle James, Peter and Liam
are the children of Ben.
