Tier 2 – Organisational DS
The Organisational DS Tier is provided as the primary Service Consumers Authentication DS. All
instances of this DS will be federated for resilience and externally authenticated with the Tier 1
Federating DS.
The Organisational DS will provide the following capabilities:

Cassidian provides the following deployment models for these capabilities:
Master Federation Directory will be located with the CSOC in HA mode.
Full Central Managed Service delivery
Local Instance – deployment of a local instance of the service with a centralised management
function
Design and delivery of a fully distributed service deployment to support a multi-site instance
with centralised and shared service management model.
