好 驚 啲 裝 甲 車 會 直 接 喺 車 路 嗰 度 衝 入 嚟 衝 到 中 心 , 然 後 就 喺 呢 個 理 大 嘅 中 心 位
置 上 樓 梯 衝 上 去 捉 人 , 所 以 其 實 呢 個 位 置 嗰 陣 時 有 一 個 路 障 係 擋 住 咗 上 樓 梯 上
到 嚟 嗰 個 位 。 嗰 陣 時 嗰 個 路 障 好 特 別 㗎 , 印 象 特 別 深 刻 就 係 佢 係 用 嗰 啲 Wrap
膠 嘅 膠 紙 包 起 晒 成 個 路 障 , 咁 你 平 時 話 可 能 磚 牆 咁 樣 嗰 啲 呢 , 即 係 你 爬 都 爬 得
過 , 但 你 Wrap 咗 膠 , 再 加 啲 障 礙 物 喺 裡 面 呢 , 其 實 你 係 , 即 係 …… 全 個 Poly
嗰 陣 時 圍 城 裡 面 唯 一 一 個 跨 越 唔 到 嘅 障 礙 物 其 實 就 係 呢 個 位 置 。 掉 翻 轉 你 會 發
現 香 港 人 係 好 有 創 意 , 由 三 個 磚 可 以 砌 到 攞 藝 術 獎 , 去 到 攞 Wrap 膠 紙 去 包 起
好 多 嘅 障 礙 物 去 做 路 障 , 好 多 雜 物 去 做 路 障 , 其 實 你 見 到 香 港 人 係 一 個 好 聰 明
嘅 民 族 , 可 惜 就 係 我 哋 要 將 呢 啲 聰 明 用 喺 呢 啲 位 置 。
This is the top of a flight of stairs leading down to a street at ground level. At the
time, we were very afraid that an armoured car would come all the way up that
street and then the police would come up these stairs and arrest us all in this central
place. So we put up barricades to block the entrance to those steps. It was a special
barricade - we used plastic wrap on the whole thing. Brick walls were easy to climb
over, but by wrapping the barricade with all the clutter inside... it made it harder to
traverse. This was the only impenetrable barricade in PolyU. Come to think of it, the
Hong Kong nation has some really creative people. We could win an art prize with
just a few bricks, and we could make effective barricades with plastic wrap. Such a
clever people - and what a shame we had to use our intellect in such a way.
