呢 個 係 去 Z core 嘅 天 橋 , 其 實 佢 由 第 一 日 黎 明 行 動 開 始 已 經 係 一 個 主 戰 場 , 亦<br />
都 係 其 中 一 個 前 線 , 因 為 佢 樓 下 就 係 兩 條 好 主 要 嘅 交 通 幹 道 , 一 個 制 高 點 , 掟<br />
嘢 落 去 可 以 好 容 易 癱 瘓 到 個 交 通 。 對 我 嚟 講 , 當 然 最 深 印 象 其 實 就 係 , 遊 繩 落<br />
去 嗰 個 嘅 畫 面 。 我 仲 記 得 嗰 段 時 間 就 係 , 嗰 個 晚 上 , 我 記 得 係 禮 拜 一 嘅 夜 晚 ,A<br />
core 嗰 邊 , 即 係 香 港 人 去 聲 援 理 大 , 亦 都 係 去 救 理 大 手 足 嘅 時 候 , 有 好 多 人 喺<br />
A core 嘅 正 門 嗰 度 準 備 想 突 圍 。 其 實 嗰 個 夜 晚 因 為 大 家 都 諗 緊 方 法 走 , 有 好 多<br />
唔 同 嘅 消 息 不 斷 地 彈 嚟 彈 去 ; 有 陣 時 就 話 Z core 有 得 走 , 呢 個 就 話 Y core 天<br />
橋 有 得 走 , 有 時 話 T core 準 備 突 圍 出 去 。 嗰 晚 其 實 好 多 人 都 係 咁 樣 走 嚟 走 去 ,<br />
因 為 其 實 就 唔 知 邊 度 真 係 work 咁 樣 , 然 而 其 中 一 個 地 方 就 喺 呢 個 …… 呢 條 天<br />
橋 嗰 度 遊 繩 落 去 嗰 個 畫 面 。 其 實 呢 個 畫 面 你 覺 得 喺 香 港 見 到 係 一 件 好 奇 怪 嘅<br />
事 , 嗰 個 畫 面 你 可 能 你 expect 其 實 只 不 過 係 可 能 係 啲 …… 即 係 嗰 個 酒 店 有 人 恐<br />
怖 襲 擊 , 咁 然 後 啲 人 要 喺 嗰 個 窗 裡 面 逃 生 先 要 遊 繩 走 , 呢 啲 根 本 就 係 電 影 嘅 劇<br />
情 , 但 係 嗰 陣 時 係 親 眼 喺 我 眼 前 出 現 喺 香 港 呢 一 個 地 方 。 咁 係 …… 我 唔 知 點 形<br />
容 , 總 之 係 一 個 好 誇 張 , 對 我 嚟 講 好 誇 張 , 好 震 撼 嘅 一 個 畫 面 。<br />
This is the overpass leading to Z Core. It was one of the main battlegrounds from<br />
day one, and also one of the front lines, with two major traffic arteries just below<br />
it. You could easily shut down the traffic by throwing things from here. For me, the<br />
most memorable thing that happened here was when people escaped by going<br />
down ropes. I remember that night - it was Monday night, when Hongkongers came<br />
to PolyU’s rescue - there were a lot of people gathered at the main entrance of A<br />
Core, preparing for an escape. We were all thinking of ways to get out, and different<br />
messages were circulating. Sometimes it was said that there was a way out at Z<br />
Core, or that the Y Core overpass was the way to go, or that people were preparing an<br />
escape at T Core. People were running around that night because they didn’t really<br />
know what was going to work. So we ended up with the scene of people climbing<br />
down ropes. It was a strange sight in Hong Kong, because you’d expect it to only<br />
happen in films, where guests climb out of windows to escape a terrorist attack. But<br />
then it happened in front of my eyes. I have no words to describe it, except that it<br />
was beyond shocking and beyond my wildest imagination.<br />
