呢 度 就 係 M Core 對 出 其 中 一 塊 空 地 , 其 實 係 第 二 個 靶 場 , 呢 個 靶 場 唔 係 射 箭
嘅 , 而 係 嗰 陣 好 多 手 足 因 為 要 守 城 , 都 希 望 可 以 整 一 啲 投 石 機 去 阻 止 警 方 攻 入
校 園 , 呢 個 地 方 就 係 去 測 試 整 出 嚟 嘅 投 石 機 , 例 如 試 吓 佢 夠 唔 夠 力 等 等 。
除 咗 個 練 靶 場 之 外 , 好 多 時 候 一 啲 重 要 嘅 宣 佈 都 會 喺 呢 個 空 地 度 , 等 啲 手 足 知
道 ; 亦 都 有 唔 少 嘅 決 定 , 例 如 去 留 嘅 問 題 、 唔 同 地 方 嘅 人 手 安 排 、 要 唔 要 衝 出
去 校 園 外 嘅 道 路 做 嘢 等 等 , 都 有 時 候 會 喺 呢 個 空 地 上 面 公 布 同 傾 , 亦 都 會 有 唔
少 手 足 喺 度 休 息 。
This open space outside M Core served as our second range. It wasn’t for archery,
but for trebuchets. The reason for this was that many of us had to defend against the
siege, and we all wanted to make trebuchets to stop the cops from coming onto the
campus. Here we tested the prototypes to see if they had enough power and so on.
Apart from the range, important announcements were also made in this open space.
Decisions to be made, such as whether to stay or go, manpower arrangements
for different locations, whether we need to venture outside the campus and do
something on the streets outside, and more, are sometimes announced and
discussed in this open space. This is also where many of the protesters rest.
