嗰 陣 我 哋 搬 完 嘢 出 嚟 , 一 入 嚟 未 入 閘 嗰 度 有 個 凹 位 , 我 哋 就 係 企 喺 嗰 度 望 出
去 , 睇 吓 有 咩 情 況 。 嗰 時 有 啲 似 睇 警 匪 片 咁 , 對 面 紅 館 前 啲 嗰 個 停 車 場 嘅 唔 同
層 , 同 紅 隧 閘 口 , 都 有 啲 狗 望 住 我 哋 ; 近 少 少 嘅 呢 啲 位 都 會 望 到 我 哋 。 雖 然 宜
家 諗 翻 係 傻 傻 哋 , 但 嗰 陣 會 驚 啲 人 攞 狙 擊 槍 …… 你 都 知 佢 哋 係 會 掹 槍 , 真 槍 實
彈 , 所 以 真 係 驚 , 不 過 最 後 都 無 發 生 。 之 後 就 係 睇 有 無 狗 車 嚟 , 時 不 時 望 望 吓
又 會 多 架 狗 車 喺 嗰 度 落 , 勁 多 狗 落 晒 , 又 會 開 始 驚 , 以 為 有 好 多 狗 。
我 哋 一 開 始 嚟 嘅 時 候 都 有 去 紅 磡 橋 望 吓 , 但 之 後 封 多 咗 嘢 , 嗰 度 得 翻 好 少 位 ,
可 能 唔 想 俾 啲 狗 行 過 嚟 , 所 以 之 後 大 家 有 共 識 , 淨 係 俾 啲 射 箭 嘅 人 過 去 , 我 哋
就 唔 會 去 嗰 度 , 廢 事 阻 住 佢 哋 , 同 埋 我 哋 去 嗰 度 其 實 都 無 嘢 做 到 。
That time we came out after finished carrying supplies. There was an alcove right in
front of the turnstiles, so we stood there and surveyed the situation. It was like a cop
movie - there were cops looking at us from several levels of the car park outside the
Hong Kong Coliseum, as well as from the gates of the Cross Harbour Tunnel. We were
clearly visible to those around us. It seems silly now, but at the time we were worried
that the cops would use sniper rifles on us. They were using firearms, with real
bullets, so we were worried. But in the end nothing like that happened. Later on, we’d
keep an eye out for cop cars coming in, and sometimes we’d look and see another
car dropping off a whole gang of cops. We’d panic again, thinking they were coming
for us.

圖 書 館 啲 嘢 出 嚟 , 喺 呢 度 留 左 一 陣 , 再 走 去 Z Core 個 邊 橋 嘅 時 候 , 無 啦 啦 聽 到
呢 邊 好 似 開 始 射 催 淚 彈 入 嚟 , 之 後 我 哋 都 無 再 過 嚟 呢 邊 , 因 為 呢 邊 真 係 乜 都 做
唔 到 。
In the beginning we checked the overpass leading to Hung Hom Station. Later we
reinforced the barricades and left little space there; we didn’t want the cops to come
that way. Later we agreed to let the archers go there and we’d stay out of their way.
There was nothing we could have achieved by being there anyway.
This was the lookout point for the Cross Harbour Tunnel side and the police across
the road. We stayed here for a while after moving the furniture out of the library. As
we moved on to the overpass at Z Core, we heard tear gas being fired at this point.
We didn’t come back because there was nothing we could do here.
