我 哋 唔 係 最 早 入 嚟 嘅 , 一 入 到 嚟 就 係 去 Canteen 攞 Gear。 好 記 得 落 到 嚟 係 有<br />
好 多 Gear 同 埋 淋 淋 瀋 瀋 嘅 零 食 、 嘢 食 , 所 以 呢 個 位 好 多 人 , 個 個 一 嚟 到 就 係 嚟<br />
呢 度 , 擺 低 嘢 都 係 呢 度 擺 底 。<br />
We weren’t the first to arrive. We went straight into the canteen to get our gear. I<br />
remember there was a big stockpile of equipment, snacks and food, which attracted<br />
a lot of people. Everyone stopped by and supplies were also left here.<br />
我 哋 一 入 嚟 嗰 陣 無 裝 備 , 都 係 着 啲 運 動 衫 , 就 嚟 打 仗 。 嗰 陣 時 一 嚟 到 , 真 係 好<br />
似 打 仗 咁 , 有 好 多 位 , 無 論 係 頭 先 條 橋 又 好 , 呢 度 又 好 , 同 宜 家 都 好 唔 同 , 望<br />
落 好 似 無 咁 大 , 因 為 嗰 陣 放 咗 太 多 嘢 。<br />
嗰 時 Canteen 啲 枱 打 橫 擺 起 晒 , 有 好 多 好 多 Gear。 同 我 一 齊 嚟 嘅 一 啲 女 仔 就<br />
好 似 嚟 湊 熱 鬧 咁 , 係 咁 攞 Gear, 但 係 嗰 時 TG group, 同 埋 啲 人 行 過 都 有 講 過<br />
唔 夠 豬 嘴 , 我 都 係 得 普 通 口 罩 , 啲 狗 又 會 掟 催 淚 彈 入 嚟 , 所 以 嗰 時 我 就 叫 班 女<br />
唔 好 攞 豬 嘴 , 你 唔 係 真 係 走 去 博 殺 就 唔 好 嘥 嘢 , 戴 翻 口 罩 算 啦 , 啲 勞 工 手 套 都<br />
係 , 唔 係 搬 嘢 就 唔 好 攞 。<br />
呢 個 位 令 我 最 深 刻 嘅 係 , 嗰 陣 時 我 哋 喺 度 傾 緊 點 部 署 , 無 啦 啦 “ 磅 ” 一 聲 好 大<br />
聲 , 以 為 有 咩 事 , 係 咪 開 始 入 嚟 ? 好 彩 唔 係 , 係 啲 手 足 喺 泳 池 嗰 度 試 緊 火 魔 。<br />
同 埋 我 哋 會 留 喺 呢 個 位 睇 TG group 同 新 聞 嗰 啲 消 息 , 有 啲 人 就 喺 度 諗 幾 時 走 ,<br />
去 邊 度 幫 手 , 睇 啲 狗 嘅 消 息 。<br />
We were wearing just sweatshirts and didn’t have any equipment, but we came to<br />
fight. It really felt like a battlefield at the time. All the places, like the overpass just<br />
now or here, looked very different then. It didn’t seem as spacious because we had a<br />
lot of stuff here.<br />
The tables in the canteen were all lined up and there was a lot of gear. The girls I<br />
came with seemed to be caught up in the excitement, grabbing pieces of gear left<br />
and right. At the time, the telegram groups and protestors passing by were talking<br />
about a shortage of respirators. Even I wore a face mask. Besides, the cops would be<br />
shooting tear gas, so I told the girls to leave the respirators alone and just wear face<br />
masks. If they were really going to the front, they shouldn’t waste the supplies. Same<br />
with the work gloves, leave them alone if they weren’t going to help move things.<br />
The most memorable moment here was when we heard a loud bang while we were<br />
discussing strategy. We thought it was the cops making their move. It turned out to<br />
be fellow protestors testing ‘fire magic’ (Molotov cocktails) in the swimming pool. We<br />
also stayed here to monitor the telegram groups and the news. Some were thinking<br />
about when to leave, where help was needed, or watching the police movements.<br />
