This is what we called the Hung Hom Railway overpass. Before the PolyU siege,<br />
the police were stationed here during Operation Daybreak. Those who have been<br />
following the news may remember a video clip of the riot police arresting a pregnant<br />
woman, which also happened on this overpass. It was also the way the riot police<br />
used to enter PolyU. During the siege, this was one of the most important footholds,<br />
so many protesters stood guard here. The reason for this was that the overpass was<br />
connected to a bus terminal above Hung Hom Railway Station, and many police<br />
officers often watched us from here, sometimes playing songs, sometimes even<br />
taunting us.<br />
