September 2023 Channeling By: Ali Guggenheim / Psychic Phenomenon Miracles are not contrary to nature but only to what we know about nature. - St. Augustine Many people associate Channeling with a woo-woo phenomenon in which people receive messages from another dimension and convey it to their audience in an altered voice. The word Channeling is confusing because it means different things to people. Unsurprisingly, 29 similar practices in this field use Channeling to access their results, including Clairvoyants, Trance Channelers, Outof-Body Experiences, Remote Viewing, Intuition, Spiritual Healing, etc. Channeling is not a recent phenomenon. We were all born capable of sensing beyond the five senses. Therefore, whether we know it or not, everyone intuitively channels. Throughout their lifetime, we channel energy, abilities, feelings, ideas, etc. A channel is a passageway - a means of access to a thing, communication, or an idea. It’s where data not limited by our conventional notions of space and time can reveal itself. Ultimately, it’s a means to hear our inner guidance more clearly, act upon our intuition, and create our inner visions. So where do these messages come from? In actuality, all the mechanics of Channeling are not yet understood, nor have they established where the information is coming from. Some Channelers believe their sources are non-human, angels, extraterrestrials, etc. Some think they’re communicating with ascended masters while, Mediums believe they are communicating with deceased individuals. The Institute of Noetic Science survey revealed where participants thought their data came from: a. 56% thought it was from their higher self. b. 50% said the universal mind, c. 47% answered the unconscious mind, and d. Very few reported deities, ETs, spirits, or others. Women had more robust and more frequent experiences than men. Its believed that this is because of the Yin or feminine energy. Channeling is a skill anyone can learn to do intentionally. We all know inspiration when we feel it. It is a force that exhilarates us and prompts us to do something. The Daily Om says, “There are many ways to cultivate its presence, journaling, scrapbooking, visiting thought-provoking friends, etc. Finding what inspires you and consciously cultivating it will give you access to new ways of thinking, energy you didn’t know you had, and develop your self-appreciation.” To contact Ali or for spiritual consultations, coaching, workshops and readings, email: alivegasvoice@yahoo.com.
