AMSA 2023 Embolus Publication

2023 NATIONAL COUNCIL 2 (FACE TO FACE)
National Council is an event open to ALL medical students and is convened
three times a year. This event engages representatives from all AMSA groups
and medical schools to review policies and provide reports on the current
achievements and plans of AMSA committees. Additionally, the National
Council provides a chance to network with like-minded peers and upskill.
Our second National Council will be held at Brisbane this year! The dates are:
· Saturday (1st July): Council 2 starting in the afternoon
· Sunday (2nd July): Council 2 all day
· Monday (3rd July): Council 2 in the morning & wrapping up by afternoon
· Tuesday (4th July): AMSA Reps Breakout Day
· Wednesday - Sun (5th July - 9th July): National Convention
Subsidised Council 2 delegates will get accommodation for the Saturday and
Sunday night and flights subsidised in and out of Brisbane. We will also
organise a shuttle to Gold Coast on Wednesday morning for those Council
delegates also going to convention (which is hopefully everyone). There will
also be options for non-subsidised delegates to purchase accommodation and
a shuttle ticket via the registration link.

Registrations for the 2023 AMSA National Convention open TOMORROW!
Join our Facebook page to keep an eye out for the registration link. Held at
the Gold Coast this year, there is a stellar academic program planned full
of speakers from medicine and a variety of other fields. Additionally, we
will be bringing you networking opportunities with speakers and other
delegates. We also have a reinvigorated sports and wellbeing program,
Gala Ball and social nights to help recharge you!
