Welcome to the August <strong>2023</strong> edition of the <strong>Embolus</strong>. In this month’s edition,<br />
we’ll be updating you on the upcoming <strong>AMSA</strong> events and opportunities.<br />
<strong>AMSA</strong> Rural Health Summit <strong>2023</strong><br />
Held at Darwin this year, this event will provide a diverse and invigorating<br />
timeline of academic sessions, social events and upskilling workshops to<br />
encourage budding or continued interest in rural health. The theme for this year’s<br />
RHS event is “Rural Medicine: Frontier of Healthcare Delivery”.<br />

<strong>AMSA</strong> COUNCIL 3<br />
Council 3 will be held on October 7th and 8th <strong>2023</strong> via Zoom. The policies to be<br />
