WHAT IS
AMSA? (CON‘T)
AMSA Representative Groups
These groups work to mobilise the
collective political capital of the
emerging health workforce in order
to advocate on issues that are
important to medical students. These
groups bring diverse lived experience
to the AMSA community and support
self-determination in health and
education policy and strategy. More
information can be found on page 23.
AMSA Initiative Groups
These groups represent the interests
and lived experiences of key student
populations and coordinate events,
campaigns and resources to connect
and inform medical students on their
respective areas of expertise. They
work to bring diverse lived
experiences to the forefront of our
education and advocacy. More
information can be found on page 28.
