Welcome to the July <strong>2023</strong> edition of the <strong>Embolus</strong>. Here, we’ll be updating you<br />

on the upcoming <strong>AMSA</strong> events and summarise the advocacy achievements of<br />

<strong>AMSA</strong>.<br />

UPCOMING: <strong>AMSA</strong> Rural Health Summit <strong>2023</strong><br />

Held at Darwin this year, this event will provide a diverse and invigorating<br />

timeline of academic sessions, social events and upskilling workshops to<br />

encourage budding or continued interest in rural health. The theme for this year’s<br />

RHS event is “Rural Medicine: Frontier of Healthcare Delivery”.<br />
