In terms of size categories, the majority of top ten <strong>Europe</strong>an<br />
operators each had a mix of aircraft of at least four categories.<br />
The Light Jet Category was most popular with 111 aircraft among<br />
the top ten operators, and featured in seven of the top ten fleets.<br />
NetJets <strong>Europe</strong> was the largest operator of Light Jets with 44 in<br />
its fleet and 68% of ProAir Aviation’s fleet comprised Light Jets.<br />
The top ten <strong>Europe</strong>an operators had a total of 110 Long Range<br />
Jets at the end of <strong>2022</strong>, and this category also featured in almost<br />
all of the top ten fleets. VistaJet was the largest operator of Long<br />
Range Jets with a fleet of 37, which equated to 58% of its fleet.<br />
The almost equal popularity of both Light and Long Range jets<br />
among the largest operators further supports the fact that there is<br />
great potential in developing domestic and intra-<strong>Europe</strong> markets<br />
with Light Jets while new generation Long Range Jets allow<br />
operators to expand their long-haul reach to satisfy clients’ needs.<br />
The Large and Medium categories were operated by eight of the<br />
top ten, with ProAir and GlobeAir being the two operators without<br />
aircraft in either of these categories. Corporate Airliners were<br />
flown by just two of the top ten operators, while Very Light Jets<br />
featured among five of the top ten.<br />
