As part of Mission 4.7., the BKMC continued to spotlight
best practices and to work with partners to integrate
SDGs is not just a goal, but a moral obligation and a
shared responsibility, requiring open dialogue and
partnerships for the SDGs.
Education is a vehicle to achieve all the SDGs.
Throughout the year and in line with the BKMC’s
commitment to advance transformative education
(SDG 4.7), Global Citizenship Education (GCED), and
Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), the
BKMC has continued its efforts to encourage leaders
to make meaningful commitments and convened the
first International Forum on GCED with key stakeholders.
Co-chair Ban Ki-moon, who also serves as Mission
4.7 patron, endorsed the report Fostering Youth-led
Innovations to Accelerate Progress on the United Nations
Sustainable Development Goals, released at COP28. The
