b. Work visas granted to applicants approved under these instructions will be endorsed with<br />

conditions that allow work for any employer.<br />

WR2.1.1 Currency and travel conditions of work visas under the Talent (Arts Culture<br />

and Sports) Work Instructions<br />

a. Applicants who are in <strong>New</strong> <strong>Zealand</strong> may be granted a Talent (Arts Culture and Sports)<br />

work visa allowing stay and multiple entry travel for 30 months.<br />

b. Applicants who are not in <strong>New</strong> <strong>Zealand</strong> may be granted a Talent (Arts Culture and Sports)<br />

work visa with the following travel conditions:<br />

i first entry to <strong>New</strong> <strong>Zealand</strong> must be made within three months of the visa being<br />

granted; and<br />

ii the visa will allow stay and multiple entry travel for 30 months from first arrival.<br />

WR2.5 Definition of 'exceptional talent in a declared field of art, culture or<br />

sport'<br />

WR2.10 Definition of '<strong>New</strong> <strong>Zealand</strong> organisation of national repute'<br />

A '<strong>New</strong> <strong>Zealand</strong> organisation of national repute' is:<br />

Effective 29/11/2010<br />

a. a <strong>New</strong> <strong>Zealand</strong> organisation that has a nationally recognised record of excellence in a field<br />

of art, culture or sport; or<br />

b. a <strong>New</strong> <strong>Zealand</strong> organisation that has a nationally recognised record of excellence in<br />

fostering exceptional talent in a field of art, culture or sport.<br />

WR2.15 Support by <strong>New</strong> <strong>Zealand</strong> organisation of national repute and<br />

sponsorship by an acceptable sponsor<br />

Effective 29/11/2010<br />

a. Applicants must provide evidence of support by a <strong>New</strong> <strong>Zealand</strong> organisation of national<br />

repute in their declared field of art, culture or sport, and evidence of sponsorship by an<br />

acceptable sponsor, by providing a completed Talent (Art, Culture and Sports) Sponsorship<br />

Form (INZ 1091) with their application for a work visa.<br />

b. Completion of the form includes:<br />

i a statement of support for the application for a work visa under the Talent (Arts,<br />

Culture or Sports) Work; and<br />

ii the reasons why the organisation considers that the applicant's presence in <strong>New</strong><br />

<strong>Zealand</strong> will enhance the quality of <strong>New</strong> <strong>Zealand</strong>'s accomplishments and participation<br />

in the declared field of art, culture or sport; and<br />

iii a written undertaking of sponsorship from a natural person, organisation, or<br />

government agency which is an acceptable sponsor confirming they will meet the<br />

obligations specified at E6.15.<br />

c. The form should be accompanied by information, evidence and submissions which<br />

demonstrate that the supporting organisation is an organisation of national repute.
