DISENGAGEMENT CONDITIONS<br />
The FINAL and APP NAV modes disengage:<br />
‐ If the flight crew presses the APPR pb (HDG-V/S or TRK-FPA modes engage)<br />
‐ If the flight crew presses the LOC pb (LOC mode arms if an ILS is selected, if not, HDG-V/S or<br />
TRK-FPA modes engage)<br />
‐ If the flight crew pulls out the HDG/TRK knob, the FMGES reverts to HDG-V/S or TRK-FPA basic<br />
modes<br />
‐ Automatically at MDA (or MDH)-50 ft, or 400 ft AGL, if the flight crew does not enter any<br />
MDA/MDH<br />
‐ When the GO AROUND mode engages.<br />
Note: If the flight crew engages the V/S or FPA mode, only FINAL mode disengages and APP<br />
NAV mode remains engaged.<br />
