DISPLAY COLOR CONDITIONS<br />

DECELERATE White This message is displayed if the thrust is not reduced when passing the<br />

top of descent, and the aircraft is above the flight profile.<br />

EXTEND SPD BRK White<br />

DES mode is engaged, idle is selected, and either:<br />

‐ The aircraft is above the vertical profile, and the predicted intercept<br />

point of the theoretical profile is at less than 2 nm from the next altitude<br />

constraint, and the predicted aircraft altitude at next altitude constraint<br />

is greater than ALT CSTR-500 ft, or<br />

‐ In auto speed control, if the aircraft enters in a speedbrake<br />

decelerating segment (next speed limit or speed constraint).<br />

RETRACT SPD BRK White<br />

EFIS SINGLE SOURCE 1<br />

or<br />

EFIS SINGLE SOURCE 2<br />

EFIS SWTG NOT<br />

ALLOWED<br />

Speedbrakes are extended, DES mode is engaged and:<br />

‐ ALT* or ALT mode engages, or<br />

‐ Aircraft is below the path.<br />

‐ CONF3 or FULL is reached.<br />

White CAPT and F/O Display Units are fed by the same source: either captain<br />

side source (1) or first officer side source (2). Range and mode selections<br />

can be done only by the appropriate side.<br />

Amber EFIS configuration selected by the flight crew is not allowed:<br />

DMC1 for F/O Display Units, or DMC2 for CAPT Display Units, and<br />

conditions for "EFIS SINGLE SOURCE" not fulfilled.<br />
